The Coachella Valley Public Cemetery District will begin improvements along the southern property line starting June 30th and continuing through August 1st. This project includes the removal of existing hedges and one tree, followed by the installation of a new fence along the entire southern boundary, including areas without existing landscaping. The new fencing will enhance both the aesthetics and security of the cemetery grounds.

To minimize disruption to visitors, this work has been scheduled during the summer months when visitation is typically lower. District contractors will also make every effort to reduce impacts during construction, though some areas may be temporarily closed for safety. We appreciate your patience and understanding as we complete this important project.
