Joshua Bonner is a distinguished leader with over 30 years of experience spanning both the public and private sector. Serving as the General Manager of the Coachella Valley Public Cemetery District since 2021, the District has earned notable recognition under his stewardship, including the “Earl F. Sayre Excellence in Safety Award” from the Special District Risk Management Authority (“SDRMA”) in 2022, the “District Transparency Certificate of Excellence” from the Special District Leadership Foundation (“SDLF”) in 2023, and the “District of Distinction” recognition in 2024. In 2024, Joshua was also honored as the General Manager of the Year by the California Special District Association (“CSDA”).
